Welcome! I am an author of young adult science fiction and dystopian novels. I live in Arizona with my husband, Chris, and two daughters. When I’m not writing, I’m probably playing games with my family, listening to podcasts or audiobooks, coming up with new entrepreneurial ideas, or folding laundry. But as soon as possible, I always get back to writing.
I’ve written novels for as long as I can remember, but Wall of Fire was the first novel I published. Before deciding to seriously take a chance on my writing, I spent six years working as a registered nurse and started several businesses related to board games with my husband. We love working together. Chris has been a huge part of bringing my novels to life, including being the best beta reader imaginable.
A few other random things about me: I love to roller coasters, roller skating, and eating honey buns and enchiladas (but not together). I love to read. My favorite genre is young adult dystopian novels, but I also read mysteries, thrillers, some fantasy, some classics, and lots of nonfiction.
